When Raz*War inaugurate social R&D
In a previous blog post on razwar.com, I shared with you some of the results from our satisfaction survey. You will certainly have to agree with me that this does not happen quite often coming from companies. On my side, quite simply, I searched the web to look for similar examples… I did not find a single page about satisfaction survey results shared by the brand itself, despite what some gurus wrote.
Clearly, Raz*War already does social customer care, but sharing satisfaction survey results with the audience is going a step further. It is the first step towards "Social R&D (Research & Development)".
It’s been clear, for quite a while, that we’ve needed you for building our brand. What we would like from you now, is for you to help us build our next generation products. For that to happen, we will need to help you evaluate our products. That’s is the aim of this blog post: providing you with tips & tricks to evaluate our products, and helping you become a razor and a shaving expert.
The good news is that, by educating you to the world of razors, you will be more capable of understanding why our products are high quality products. Let’s be clear now: we don’t want to fight to propose you THE best razor system. We would like to fight to propose AMONG THE BEST razor systems. We believe in the “Good enough” concept; The “Good enough” concept is the motto behind Facebook, Twitter and Google: Proposing A very good product and let the consumers help improve it.
Ok? Well understood? So, now it is your turn to help us improve! Well, a good way to do so is:
Ok, ok. Now I am just exaggerating. But, as founder of Raz*War, I did that for a while and, in my bathroom, there are still some feedback sheets of Raz*War lying around. After that “clever shave”, not only will you be able to provide us with highly valuable feedback, but you will realize how good our products are and, more importantly, you will become a Raz*War apostle and a true ambassador.
Yes, Ladies & Gentlemen, here comes the time of “SOCIAL R&D”. Again, a true revolution. We would like you to help improve us (our range of products, our communication, our way to handle you, etc…), by educating you to our vocabulary, sharing with you some of the outcomes of these studies and more. (Though of course, we will not give weapons to the two razor blades giants, that have now started looking at us. And we will also keep some “surprise” effect for you.)
Ready, set, go…

Ok? Well understood? So, now it is your turn to help us improve! Well, a good way to do so is:
- To print the "rate your shave" memo paper - linked here
- To place it close to your mirror or in your bathroom
- And next time you shave, to keep an eye on the paper and put your shaving experience down in words
